Paris Saint-Germain Pulls Out of Zion Suzuki Deal
Journalist Ben Jacobs has reported that the transfer of Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki from Parma to Paris Saint-Germain has fallen through, despite an agreement between the French club and the player, as well as an agreement with Parma.
Jacobs explained that a change regarding the commissions surrounding the deal prompted Paris Saint-Germain to decide to withdraw from the process.
Negotiations had reached advanced stages in recent days, with talk of a deal worth around €35 million. There were also reports of Suzuki agreeing to a five-year contract with the Parisian club.
Thus, it seems that the transfer of the Japanese national team goalkeeper to Paris Saint-Germain is currently canceled, despite the deal being very close to completion.
