Modric Sets Example of Commitment, Returns to Milan

Luka Modric returned to Milan early this morning, arriving from Zadar in Croatia, after spending three days off that were granted to AC Milan players following their preseason tour in Australia and Indonesia.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Modric arrived at Malpensa Airport after 1 AM on a Ryanair flight in economy class, traveling alone with a backpack featuring the Croatia logo.

Despite arriving late, the Milan star did not refuse fans' requests for photos and autographs, whether on the plane or inside the airport.

The newspaper reported that Modric has become an example of commitment, as he made sure to return to Milan at night to be ready for the training resumption at Milanello this afternoon. This comes at a time when the additional holidays taken by some players, such as Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot, have sparked controversy within the team.
