Tonali's agent: We felt AC Milan was no longer the historic Milan

Sandro Tonali's agent has revealed the reasons that led the player to leave AC Milan and move to the Premier League, confirming that there is a feeling among the player and his surroundings that the club no longer resembles the Milan known in history.

Sandro Tonali's agent said: "We had a feeling that Milan had changed, and it was no longer the historic Milan," explaining that this feeling was present during the period leading up to the player's departure from the Italian club.

He added: "After speaking with Sandro, we saw that a move to the Premier League could be a suitable option," pointing out that the player was excited to take on a new experience and challenge in English football, which led him to transfer to Newcastle in the summer of 2023.

His agent stated: "The challenge excited him a lot, and he showed great courage because he was one of the most important players for AC Milan and won the Premier League title with them. Nevertheless, he had the audacity to leave; he was a visionary," referring to the difficulty of making the decision despite the status he enjoyed within the team.

After his time with Newcastle, Tonali has continued his career in the Premier League by moving to Tottenham this summer, starting a new chapter in his professional journey following his years with AC Milan and his stint at Newcastle.
