The current international break has seen a wave of injuries affecting several players from Serie A clubs, raising concerns about their availability for the upcoming round of matches. It has already been confirmed that several players will face long periods on the sidelines.

Como have suffered a blow with the injury of striker Moise Kean, who returned to his club after feeling pain during the match between France and Italy, and will miss the Italian national team's upcoming match against Türkiye. The player is expected to undergo medical examinations to determine the nature of the injury and the duration of his absence.

In Rome, Bryan Cristante is suffering from a problem with his right knee, confirming his absence for the match against Como on October 11, while the club hopes to have him back before facing Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on October 14. As for Napoli, they will miss Costantino Favasuli for a long time due to a grade two injury to his right quadriceps, with expectations for his return after the upcoming international break in mid-November.

Bologna have received a significant blow as Emil Holm has undergone surgery due to a hamstring injury in his right leg, with an expected absence of 4 to 6 months. Meanwhile, at Lazio, Albert Gudmundsson is suffering from a dislocated right shoulder, with estimates suggesting he will be out for about three weeks.

Giacomo Raspadori is set to miss around ten days due to a muscle injury, as tests revealed a mild strain in the hamstring of his right leg. Alessandro Diola, a player for Cagliari, also underwent surgery on his left knee to clean up the meniscus, and he is expected to return between the end of October and the beginning of November.

In other cases, Antonio Raimondo is suffering from an issue with his right Achilles tendon, while Franz Ethan Maightree has sustained a muscle injury in the hip area, and he is expected to miss the next round. On the other hand, tests were reassuring for Francesco Conceição, as they confirmed that there is no serious injury and that his thigh issue is just a bruise, making him available for Juventus in the next round.

Alexis Saelemaekers is a doubt for AC Milan's clash against US Sassuolo due to an ankle sprain, while Frank Anguissa is struggling with a muscle injury in his right thigh's adductor longus, with his situation still being assessed. For Sassuolo, the readiness of goalkeeper Arijanet Muric for the match against AC Milan has yet to be determined.

Udinese's Idrissa Gueye is among the injured players, suffering from an ankle sprain and will be evaluated weekly. Meanwhile, teammate Nicolò Zaniolo has sustained a hamstring injury that will keep him out for 3 to 4 weeks.
