Medical Concerns Halt Aslani's Move to Leipzig
Vesnik Aslani's transfer to Leipzig has unexpectedly collapsed, despite the deal reaching very advanced stages, according to Sky Sports.
According to the source, an agreement has been reached among all parties, and Aslani was set to sign a contract with Leipzig until the summer of 2031, which includes a release clause of €25 million.
However, the deal collapsed in the final moments due to medical concerns that arose during the transfer procedures, leading to the failure of the agreement despite a full consensus on its terms.
Thus, the Kosovo player will not be moving to Leipzig for the time being, after it appeared that finalizing the transfer was just a matter of time.
