Borussia Dortmund Agrees to Sign Karitsas
Borussia Dortmund has reached a verbal agreement with Belgian club Genk to sign attacking midfielder Konstantinos Karitsas, following a crucial breakthrough in negotiations between the two clubs today, making the deal complete in terms of agreement among all parties.
According to reports from Sky Sports Germany, Dortmund will pay €32 million including bonuses, with additional clauses in the contract deemed realistically achievable, raising the total value of the agreement.
The report added that Karitsas, 18 years old, will sign a contract extending until June 30, 2031, after agreeing to the German club's project and personal terms.
The source indicated that the player is still awaiting a medical examination, which represents the final step before the official announcement of his transfer to Borussia Dortmund, in a deal described as "completed" after the agreement between the two clubs.
