Laimer: We need all players and must unite before the international break
Austrian Konrad Laimer, Bayern Munich player, spoke about the impact of the consecutive injuries suffered by several teammates during the match against Borussia Dortmund, which ended in a 2-2 draw, in the eighth round of the Bundesliga.
Konrad Laimer commented on whether injuries affected the team's rhythm during the match: "It's never good to start a match and then have one player get injured, followed by another, and then a third. That definitely doesn't help you get into the flow of the game and reach your usual rhythm."
He added: "I hope my teammates' injuries are not serious, and I wish for them to return as soon as possible and not be away from the pitch for a long time. I have said this many times before, and we have all said it: we need every player in the team."
He added: "There are many matches, and we want to compete until the end in all competitions. To achieve that, we need every individual in the squad, and it is best for us to have all players available. We will remain united and support each other, and we hope to win our next two matches before the international break."
Ismail Al-Saybari suffered an ankle injury during the match against Borussia Dortmund, while Serge Gnabry is dealing with a muscle injury. Michael Olise left the pitch in the closing minutes, with the coaching and medical staff awaiting the results of tests to determine the extent of the injuries and the potential duration of absence.
