Qatari forward Sebastian Soria, of Uruguayan descent, continues his long career in Qatari football as he begins preparations with Qatar SC for the new season, marking his 22nd year among the clubs in the Qatari league, a figure that reflects his remarkable longevity and contribution over more than two decades.

Syria, aged 42, is still present in the ranks of Qatar SC, having returned to the club in 2021 after making a significant part of his career with various Qatari clubs, including Al Gharafa, Qatar SC, Lekhwiya (now Al Duhail), and Al Rayyan.

He has worn the Qatar national team jersey since 2007, participating in 123 international matches and scoring 40 goals.

Despite his advancing years, Syria continues to challenge time with his vast experience and goal-scoring instinct, remaining one of the historical figures who has left a clear mark on Qatari football after spending more than two decades on its pitches.
