The draw for the third edition of the Gulf Clubs Champions League for the 2026-2027 season was held today, featuring 12 clubs for the first time, following an increase in the number of teams from 8 to 12.

The draw has resulted in Al-Nassr from the UAE, Al-Qatar from Qatar, Al-Zawraa from Iraq, and Al-Riffa from Bahrain being placed in Group B. Meanwhile, Group A consists of Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia, Al-Duhail from Qatar, Al-Shabab from Oman, and Shabab Hadramout from Yemen.

The Saudi agreement places them in Group C alongside UAE's Ajman, Iraq's Erbil, and Kuwait's Kazma, in a tournament expected to showcase fierce competition among Gulf clubs.

The group stage of the tournament will commence on October 13, 2026, and continue until February 17, 2027. The quarter-finals are scheduled to take place from March 2 to March 17, with the semi-finals and final concluding the tournament between April 23 and April 30, 2027.

The top team and the runner-up from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, along with the two best teams finishing in third place. The quarter-final matches will be played in a home-and-away format.
