The report indicated that Marcus Rashford's name was mentioned in discussions, but his high salary of €10 million net per year, along with bonuses reaching €2.5 million, presents a significant obstacle to a move to Roma.

The Italian club prefers to acquire Marcus Rashford on loan rather than purchasing his contract outright, with Manchester United set to cover part of the player's salary.
