Arsenal Eye Parkola After Rogers Deal Collapse
Arsenal is searching for a replacement to strengthen their left flank in attack, after Chelsea successfully secured the signing of Morgan Rogers during the summer transfer window.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has clarified that Arsenal has not made any new communications with Bradley Barcola or Paris Saint-Germain, despite the London club's continued interest in the French winger.
Chelsea has secured the signing of Rogers for around £117 million. According to The Guardian, the player has agreed to a six-year contract and is expected to undergo a medical on Monday.
Arsenal now needs to determine whether Parkula is their primary alternative to compensate for the loss of the Rogers deal, or if he is merely one of the options being considered to strengthen the attack.
Meanwhile, Liverpool continues to monitor the situation regarding Barcelona's player, as they await to know Paris Saint-Germain's stance on the possibility of selling the player before making any official offer.
Barcola is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until the summer of 2028, giving the French club a strong position in negotiations, while Arsenal realizes that delaying their decision on the player is not an option.
