Jonas Harder Set for Move to Basel

Swiss club Basel is nearing the completion of a deal for young Italian midfielder Jonas Harder, arriving from Fiorentina, in a permanent transfer during the current summer transfer window.

According to the latest reports, the deal is valued at around €2 million, with Fiorentina retaining 50% of any future resale value for the player, while Harder's contract with Basel will run until 2030.

The player is expected to undergo medical examinations and sign his transfer contracts, paving the way for the deal to be finalized and officially announced.

Harder, 20, is a product of Fiorentina's academy and spent last season on loan at Padova in Italy's Serie B, before embarking on a new adventure in the Swiss league.
