Kievo: Inter Milan deserved victory over Fiorentina and we will not give up until the end

Cristian Chivu, the manager of Inter Milan, expressed his satisfaction with his team's performance following their 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in the 8th round of Serie A, praising the players' spirit and determination to fight until the last moments.

Kievo said in his statements after the match: "We played a good game, and when we went behind by a goal, we kept our calm and focus. In the end, we got the reward we deserved, and I congratulate the players on what they delivered. Even if we had lost the match, I would have been satisfied with their performance."

Inter Milan's coach spoke about the comeback: "Football is like this; we must not give up or feel frustrated, but we need to maintain the right mentality. I don't want players who complain and grumble; I want them to respond to difficulties and fight until the end."

Kievo discussed his team's repeated comebacks in matches, explaining that falling behind in the score should not become a source of concern, as there will be games where the team will not be able to come back, and others where they may lose their lead. He stressed the importance of continuing to show fighting spirit and focus throughout the match.

He praised his French striker Marcus Thuram, highlighting his increasing responsibilities in the absence of Lautaro Martínez, and showing maturity and leadership on the pitch, after contributing to Inter's comeback during stoppage time.
