Como Pursues Davinson Sanchez Transfer Talks

Como has placed Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez, currently at Galatasaray, at the top of their list to strengthen their defense during the summer transfer window, ready to improve their initial offer to secure the deal.

According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Como made an opening bid of around €20 million, including bonuses, but Galatasaray is asking for a fee between €25 and €30 million.

The report noted that Sanchez's impressive performance with the Colombian national team at the 2026 World Cup has led the Turkish club to hold firm on their financial demands.

The challenge is not only the transfer fee; the player's salary, which exceeds €3 million net per season, poses another obstacle for Como.

The Italian club had previously shifted their focus from Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah before turning their attention to Sanchez.

The Colombian defender joined Galatasaray in 2023 from Tottenham Hotspur for €9.5 million, having previously moved to the English club from Ajax in a deal worth €42 million.
