How Inter managed to stop Como's threat? Christian Kivu reveals the secret to victory

Christian Kivu, the head coach of Inter, revealed the tactical aspects that his team relied on to achieve a 2-0 victory over Como in the 11th round of Serie A.

Kievo's coach stated after the match that his team focused on preventing Como from building play and penetrating through the middle, explaining: "We wanted to force Como not to find solutions through playing in the middle, and we succeeded in that quite well."

He added: "We had to rely on a medium defensive block, preventing them from executing their passes and penetrations into the depth. We succeeded in creating cohesion between our lines, which allowed us to regain the ball and launch quickly and aggressively towards attack."

Inter's coach stated: "We forced Como to make a lot of mistakes, which is something they don't usually do," referring to the success of his players in disrupting the opponent's style and limiting their ability to build attacks as usual.

Kievo also spoke about Marcus Thuram, in statements that carried an eye-catching headline, as he pointed out that doubts about the French forward's abilities occur only in Italy, affirming his confidence in his player. He also praised the performance of his players after the important victory.
