Raja Casablanca has officially concluded its current football season following the decision by the National Professional Football League to postpone the completion of the Throne Cup to the next season. The green club is now turning the page to a new chapter focused on rebuilding and preparing for the upcoming challenges, with fans placing high hopes on restoring the team's former glory.

The club has initiated its restructuring process by making changes to its squad, as the management has decided not to renew the contracts of five players: Moath Al-Dhahak, Hilal Al-Firdousi, Abdel Karim Baadi, Moussa Konate, and Bissar Halimi, as part of a comprehensive review of the squad.

These decisions align with the intentions of Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi, who has previously expressed his desire to implement significant changes within the team, criticizing the performance of several players and highlighting the lack of competitive spirit and aggression during the past season.

Nabi is expected to submit a detailed technical report to the club's management, including a comprehensive evaluation of the team and a work plan for the upcoming season, aiming to lay the foundations for a sports project capable of returning Raja to the path of competition.

Meanwhile, an informed source confirmed that Raja's management has not finalized any new signings in the summer transfer market, indicating that the club prefers to approach the transfer window cautiously and in full coordination with various components of the technical management to ensure the acquisition of players who can make a significant impact.

Regarding the sports management, the future of French sporting director Sébastien Somakal remains a topic of discussion within Raja's ranks. Some members of the management board insist on his continuity to maintain stability and ensure the project's sustainability, while another faction, supported by a large segment of the fans, calls for his dismissal following the results achieved this season, with Frenchman Fernando Da Cruz being mentioned as a leading candidate for his replacement.

Supporter factions have also rushed to hold a meeting with the management board, demanding clarifications regarding the reasons for the failures that accompanied the current season, as well as a clear vision and precise work plan for the upcoming season, emphasizing their refusal to repeat the scenario of negative results.

In an official statement, the fans clarified that the meeting discussed several key issues, most notably the need to announce the club's sports structure clearly, defining the responsibilities of each official and linking accountability to responsibility to ensure transparency in management mechanisms.

The factions also stressed the need to limit the management board's role to administrative and financial aspects and to outline general directions, leaving sports decisions to specialists, away from any interference in technical matters.

The fans renewed their call for the establishment of an effective disciplinary council tasked with imposing strict penalties for any signs of negligence and indifference within the team, to avoid repeating behaviors that affected Raja's results during the past season.

Regarding the youth development sector, the factions called for competence and experience to be the sole criteria for appointing officials for the youth categories, moving away from the policy of assigning positions to former players solely based on their affiliation with the club, ensuring a training program that meets Raja's ambitions and future.

Raja Casablanca will face significant challenges in the upcoming season after securing its participation in the CAF Confederation Cup by finishing third in the professional league with 56 points, alongside continuing its journey in the Throne Cup starting from the postponed Round of 16.
