Raja Casablanca Boosts Finances with Sofiane Benjdida's Move to Al Ahly

Raja Casablanca is set to benefit from a financial windfall after the transfer of their former striker Soufiane Benjeda to Al Ahly. The deal is valued at approximately three billion centimes.

The Green Team will receive an amount estimated at $175,000, according to FIFA regulations regarding the solidarity mechanism and training rights, in recognition of its contribution to the player's development during his early years at the club's academy, prior to the start of his professional career outside Morocco.

Banjida is considered one of the most prominent graduates of the Raja academy, having made a significant impact with the first team before embarking on a professional journey with Standard Liège in Belgium. He then returned to the professional league through the doors of Wydad de Fès, where he played a crucial role in leading the team to the league title, finishing the season as the top scorer with 20 goals.

Al Ahly has finalized the contract with Moroccan forward, 24 years old, based on the wishes of his coach Hussein Ammouta, who is counting on his technical abilities to strengthen the team's attacking power in preparation for the upcoming local and continental competitions.
