The competition among clubs in the Moroccan Professional League has intensified for the services of Amin Souwan, the player from Fath Rabat, after RS Berkane entered the fray to sign him. This comes at a time when Raja Casablanca had already made an official offer to acquire his services during the current summer transfer window.

Foreign media reports have revealed that Renaissance Berkane's management has shown serious interest in signing Al-Sawan, turning the transfer into a direct competition between the two clubs, ahead of the transfer window closing on September 15.

RS Berkane and Raja Casablanca's moves come amid a growing trend among Moroccan clubs towards the local player market, especially with the rising costs of signing foreign players, which has made standout performers in the professional league a primary target for strengthening team rosters.

Raja Casablanca's management is continuing to complete the team's roster, despite the deals made during the summer transfer window, in response to the needs of Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Under the guidance of Portuguese Rogério Matias, the sporting management has identified five positions they aim to reinforce before the end of the transfer window, including a backup goalkeeper, a left-back, an attacking midfielder, a key playmaker, along with a foreign striker capable of playing as a center forward.

Raja Casablanca has secured multiple contracts during the current transfer window, including Shamseddine Qandil from Meknes Club, and Issak Zidani, as well as Younes Dahmani, who joined from Union Touarga on a four-season deal.

The team has strengthened its squad with Ghanaian Michael Agbeyebornu, following the end of his contract with Huesca in Spain, alongside Portuguese defender Marian Huga and Brazilian Luis Felipe Silva.

Despite these signings, Raja Casablanca's management has not closed the file on strengthening the team, as they believe the current squad still needs further additions. This explains the club's ongoing efforts, primarily focused on finalizing the deal for Amin Souwan.
