Abdelhamid Sabiri Clarifies Transfer Speculation to Raja
Moroccan international Abdelhamid Sabiri has put an end to speculation linking him with a move to Raja Casablanca during the current transfer window, issuing a direct clarification denying the circulating reports about his proximity to the green team.
Sabiri responded via his official Instagram account, posting a brief message that read: "Please do not spread false news," clearly indicating that the reports about negotiations or an agreement bringing him closer to wearing the Raja jersey are untrue.
This clarification comes after media reports suggested that the Moroccan international would be one of Raja's signings in preparation for the upcoming football season, before the player categorically denied those claims.
Sabbiri is currently in a free agent status after his contract with Fiorentina has ended, making him available to join any team during the summer transfer window.
Sabiri is one of the names that left his mark with the Moroccan national team during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where he participated in the historic achievement of the "Atlas Lions".
The goal scored by Ghanem Saïs was later confirmed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) during the match against Belgium in the second round of the group stage, which ended with Morocco winning 2-0.
