Arbeloa Targets Real Madrid Trio After Taking Charge at Fulham

New Fulham manager Álvaro Arbeloa is taking steps to strengthen his squad, prioritizing three Real Madrid players in the summer transfer market.

Fulham announced just hours ago the appointment of Arbeloa as head coach on a contract that runs until 2029, marking his first coaching experience outside Spain.

According to the BBC, Arbeloa is targeting the signing of Real Madrid trio Franco Mastantuono, Fran García, and Gonzalo García, leveraging his close knowledge of the players after coaching them during the second half of last season at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Arbeloa's interest in the trio comes amid Real Madrid's intention to sell several players to achieve financial balance and liquidity. Fran García is considered outside the team's tactical plans, while new Real Madrid manager José Mourinho intends to assess Franco Mastantuono and Gonzalo García during the pre-season before making a final decision on their futures.

Some reports have suggested that Real Betis is close to finalizing a deal for Fran García.
