Barcelona continues to assess the future of the young player Jan Verjili, who is 19 years old, after holding a meeting with his agents on Monday at the offices of the Joan Gamper Sports City. This follows Mallorca's relegation to the Spanish second division, which has opened the door to reevaluating the player's situation.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Barcelona holds 40% of the player's rights, while Vergili joined Mallorca for 3.5 million euros with a contract extending until 2030, including a release clause of 30 million euros that was reduced to 12 million euros after relegation.

The data indicates that the Catalan club is considering the option to repurchase 60% of the player's rights for 7.2 million euros, in order to fully integrate him into the first team, given the potential needs for his position in the upcoming period.

Barcelona is also considering the option of signing Virgili and then selling him or including him in exchange deals, taking advantage of his market value, which is estimated at at least 15 million euros according to "Transfermarkt." This could yield the club a financial return of approximately 5 million euros.

In parallel, the club is also considering the option of signing the player and then loaning him to a first division club in Spain or abroad, as part of a plan to develop his future and give him the opportunity to gain experience at the highest competitive level.
