Garcia: We still have to improve some things, and this is what we need to focus on

Juan García, goalkeeper of FC Barcelona, spoke about the team's defensive performance improvement, noting that the players have become more capable of limiting opponents' chances compared to last season. He also emphasized the importance of avoiding mistakes and maintaining focus against top teams.

García said after the 6-1 victory over Deportivo Alavés: "Against big teams like Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, things are decided in the end by small details. I think we showed many good things in our last match against Real Madrid, but we ultimately lost due to two details."

He added: "Therefore, we need to focus primarily on maintaining our concentration and avoiding mistakes, because we know we have great attacking potential, and if we are a reliable and secure team, our chances of winning will be much greater."

He added: "I think we have made progress as well, as teams are creating far fewer chances against us compared to last season, but we still have some areas to improve."

He continued: "This is our style of play as well, and we know there is a risk involved, but we have proven that it is worth taking. It is true that we are more vulnerable afterwards, but I believe that taking these risks in attack is worth it."

Regarding Barcelona's preparations for the upcoming matches, he said: "We are looking forward with great enthusiasm to what is coming. I believe this week has been very beneficial for us, both in terms of getting more rest and winning this match, and of course, the way we achieve victory helps a lot as well."

He concluded his statements by saying: "We are very excited right now, and we are already thinking about resting and preparing for the next match at home in the UEFA Champions League, and we are really looking forward to it and delivering a good game."
