Neville Attacks FIFA Over Switzerland Penalty Against Qatar

Manchester United legend and English analyst Gary Neville launched a sharp attack on FIFA following the controversy surrounding the penalty awarded to the Swiss national team in their match against Qatar during the World Cup.

Neville expressed his dissatisfaction with the failure to show the footage of the controversial offside incident, considering that all viewers were convinced there was an offside, while the organizing body and the broadcaster of the tournament refrained from displaying the lines used in the video technology.

Neville said, "There was an offside, and we all think so; everyone at home sees it as offside. FIFA is the official body and broadcaster that can show the footage and the lines."

He added, attacking the international federation: "It's like a dictatorship; the idea of them keeping the footage and not showing it to the fans is ridiculous."
