The Greek club Olympiacos has regained the services of its former player Kostas Fortounis, after officially announcing his signing following the end of his professional stint with Al-Khaleej Club.

The Greek club confirmed the completion of the deal through its official platforms, welcoming the player's return to the team that witnessed the most significant milestones of his football career.

Olympiacos released special photos of Fortounis, one of him in the team jersey during his previous stint, and another after his current return, in a message filled with nostalgia for the club's fans.

The 33-year-old player returns to his old football home after an experience in the Saudi league, following his move to Al-Khaleej during the summer transfer window for the 2024-2025 season.

Fortounis delivered outstanding performances in the Al-Khaleej jersey, playing a pivotal role in the frontline thanks to his extensive experience and technical abilities in creating and scoring goals.

The Greek star played 30 matches in various competitions last season, successfully scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists to his teammates.

The player also participated in 2,638 minutes, confirming his strong presence and clear impact with the team throughout the season, before deciding to return to the Greek league again.
