Diriyah Hosts the 2027 Asian Cup Draw Tomorrow

The eyes of the Asian continent will turn tomorrow, Saturday, to the city of Diriyah, which will host the final draw ceremony for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup. The tournament will feature 24 teams competing for the continental title in the edition hosted by Saudi Arabia.

The participating teams were divided into four levels, with the first level including Saudi Arabia, Japan, Iran, South Korea, Australia, and Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, Iraq, Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Oman, and Syria were placed in the second level.

The third level includes Bahrain, Thailand, China, Palestine, Vietnam, and Tajikistan, while the fourth level consists of Kyrgyzstan, North Korea, Indonesia, Kuwait, Singapore, in addition to the winner of the match between Yemen and Lebanon.

The draw is expected to result in strong groups and anticipated matchups, as many Arab and Asian teams look forward to competing for the continental title, which will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027.
