The Yemeni national team's delegation departed from Aden International Airport today, Friday, heading to the Qatari capital, Doha, to begin the final preparation phase before participating in the decisive Asian playoff.

The final list included 23 players from local elements, with the professional trio Al-Matari, Mohamedou, and Al-Sarouri set to join the camp in Doha in the coming days to complete preparations.

The medical team conducted thorough examinations for all the players before traveling, confirming the full readiness of the delegation, except for one player who was excluded at the last moment due to a sudden health issue.

Sources revealed that the exclusion came after one of the Sana'a unit's attackers developed a fever early this morning, prompting the medical team to quickly replace him with a player from Tadamun Hadramout who joined the delegation before departure.

The team brought advanced equipment to the training camp, including modern nutritional supplements and a sophisticated recovery device that uses cooling technology, aimed at speeding up player recovery during the intensive training program.

The president of the federation held a closed session with the players inside the departure lounge, during which he emphasized the importance of the phase, affirming that the training camp represents full support to achieve the dream of qualifying and bringing joy to the Yemeni fans.

The journey includes a short stop before arriving at Hamad International Airport this evening, where arrangements have been made to facilitate entry procedures and directly transport the delegation to their accommodation for rest.

The team will start its program in Doha with a recovery session in the gym, with field training set to begin once the squad is complete, amid promises of substantial financial incentives if they qualify.
