Niklas Süle Announces Retirement from Football at the End of the Current Season
German defender Niklas Süle, a player for Borussia Dortmund, has announced his retirement from football at the end of the current season, after a successful career in German and European fields.
Sky Sports reported Süle's statements, in which he expressed his gratitude for what he has achieved throughout his football career, saying: 'There is no greater feeling of gratitude for all the experiences I have had during my football journey.'
Süle, who is 30 years old, has had several experiences in the German league, playing for Hoffenheim, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.
The German defender has won five Bundesliga titles, two German Cup titles, and has also won the UEFA Champions League title.
Internationally, Süle represented the German national football team in 49 international matches during his career.
