Liverpool Football Club has clarified its stance on the future of coach Arne Slot, as the management has decided to keep him in his position for the next season, despite recent doubts about his future due to the team's declining performance and results.

According to "The Athletic," all current indicators confirm that Slot will continue to lead Liverpool's coaching staff, as the management has no immediate plans to make a coaching change.

The report indicated that Xabi Alonso's name is still considered as one of the potential future options, but he remains unlikely to take on the role at the present time.

The report clarified that Slot was regarded as the standout choice during the search for a new coach following Jürgen Klopp's departure, based on a recruitment system reliant on data analysis.

The report also confirmed that Liverpool officials continue to have confidence in the abilities of the Dutch coach, along with the support of Fenway Sports Group, the club's owners, for his stay with the team.

Slot's shares remain valued within the club, following his previous success with Feyenoord, in addition to leading Liverpool to win the Premier League title in his first season.
