The medical staff of the French club Auxerre has confirmed the end of the season for Moroccan international Oussama El Azzouzi, following a hamstring injury, officially ruling him out of the remaining matches of the French league.

Thus, it is confirmed that Azzouzi will miss the upcoming matches against Nice and Lille, at a time when the team is engaged in a crucial battle to ensure their survival in the French Ligue 1.

The player had been away from the field since last February, missing 12 consecutive matches, not counting previous absences due to various injuries that occurred three times, keeping him out of an additional 8 matches, bringing his total absences to 20 matches during the season.

During the current season, Al-Azouzi participated in only 11 matches, totaling 813 minutes, during which he scored a single goal, in a season marked by physical instability.

With this development, the Moroccan player will complete his current season with Auxerre without fully benefiting from the loan period, and he is set to return to his club Bologna at the end of the season, amid questions about his future following a series of injuries that have affected his career this year.
