Former international referee Mahmoud El-Banna confirmed that Pyramids deserved a penalty in the match against Zamalek yesterday, Thursday.

El-Banna said in statements on Modern mti TV: "Pyramids deserved a penalty after Omar Gaber insisted on holding the player (Zico) and the player was unable to play the ball. The video referee should have called the referee."
Regarding the validity of the goal scored by Bezera for Zamalek against Pyramids, Mahmoud El-Banna confirmed: "With the application of video referee lines, it was confirmed that the goal is valid and there can be no discussion about this play."
