Guardiola: I Wasn't Angry, and I Don't Know When Rodri Will Return
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola appeared in a press conference following the 1-0 victory over Burnley in the 34th round of the English Premier League, at Turf Moor.
The coach said in his speech: "The opportunities were there, we created many chances. We did everything after an exhausting match three days ago. It was a demanding match and not easy. We played well but missed some goals."
Regarding his emotions in the second half, he said: "I wasn't angry, why would I be? We got three points and we are at the top of the league. Of course, we can do better, but the players did everything."
Regarding the decline in performance compared to the Arsenal match, he said: "I disagree. We performed better in terms of opportunities compared to Sunday's match. Arsenal is an exceptional team, but the performance itself was very good."
Regarding the feeling of being at the top, he said: "Five matches remain, this is the Premier League. Five matches and we now have the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday. Then we try to prepare for the upcoming matches."
He added: "It's a great opportunity to play four consecutive finals. We might need to make some changes. In the end, we were a bit tired, but we are ready."
Regarding the return date of Rodri, he concluded: "I don't know yet, we are monitoring his condition day by day."
