Discussions continue about the future of Barcelona's striker, Robert Lewandowski, as his contract with the Catalan club is set to expire at the end of the current season, amid the management's moves to restructure the team.

According to the Spanish newspaper 'Marca', Barcelona's management has informed the player's agent, Pini Zahavi, of their conditions for agreeing to the veteran striker's continuation in the upcoming period.

The newspaper explained that the club requires a contract renewal in exchange for reducing the player's salary by half, in addition to accepting a secondary role within the team, as the club aims to sign a new striker during the upcoming summer transfer window.

These conditions come amid the financial pressures faced by Barcelona, along with the management's direction towards rejuvenating the attacking line while maintaining Lewandowski's experience in the locker room.

It is worth noting that the Polish striker is attracting interest from several clubs, whether in Europe, America, or the Saudi league, while the player has not yet made his final decision.
