Arsenal star Martin Ødegaard spoke to the press following the 2-1 defeat to Man City in the top match of the 33rd round of the English Premier League, in a game held at the Etihad Stadium.

The player said in his statement: "We are disappointed not to have won. We wanted to come away with a positive result and were very excited for the match. We performed well and succeeded in applying impressive pressure."

He added, "In the second half in particular, we were more dangerous and created significant chances in front of the goal, but such matches are decided by small details, and we weren't decisive enough, which is why we returned without any points."

He continued: "This is football at this level, a strong and competitive match, with minimal differences. It's frustrating, but there are many positives to build on, and now we must focus on the next match to make amends."

Regarding the pressing style, he said: "The high pressing was very good and made us look dangerous. It's true that we fell back at times, but overall we performed well except for the goals, and perhaps we lacked some composure in handling the ball."

Regarding his physical condition, he explained: "The decision to participate was somewhat difficult, but I felt good during the match. I felt a bit exhausted at the end, but it's good to be back, and I hope to continue with the team until the end of the season."

Regarding the pressure after this result, he said: "This is natural, there is always pressure and ongoing discussion, this is part of football at this level. We will continue to work, stay focused, and look forward to the next match."
