Bernardo Silva, the star of Manchester City, appeared in a press statement following the 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the top match of the 33rd round of the English Premier League, in the encounter that took place at the Etihad Stadium.

The player said in his statement: "This victory is extremely important because it puts us in a position where, if we win our postponed match, we can tie on points. Two weeks ago, this scenario didn't seem likely. I am very happy with us tying on points."

He added about Erling Haaland: "Erling was fantastic today, fighting fiercely for every ball. It's not easy to face two strong central defenders. He fought hard today."

He continued: "We were very good until we made a mistake that changed the course of the match after the 30th minute.
