The medical team of Zamalek Club announced the nature of the injury sustained by Omar Gaber, the team's right-back, during his participation in the second leg match against Chabab Belouizdad in the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Zamalek drew 0-0 with Chabab Belouizdad on Friday evening in the second leg of the semi-finals, allowing the White Knights to advance to the final of the tournament, as the first leg had ended with a 1-0 victory for Zamalek.

The medical team confirmed that Omar Gaber felt a strain in his calf muscle, and consequently, he was substituted in coordination with the coaching staff to prevent the injury from worsening.

The team indicated that the player will undergo a medical evaluation to determine the extent of the injury, and based on that, a specialized treatment and rehabilitation program will be developed to ensure his return to the field as soon as possible.
