Bayern Munich star Michael Olise appeared in press statements following the 4-3 victory over Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at Allianz Arena, allowing the Bavarians to advance to the semi-finals after also winning the first leg 2-1.

The French star said: "It was a good match, a duel between the two teams. We knew they would try to come back. Initially, the scoring was abundant, but when things calmed down, we played better in the second half and took advantage of our opportunities."

He added: "We showed strong determination to keep coming back. In the end, the result was satisfying for us."

He continued: "Camavinga's sending off came late. We had gained momentum before that, and the match was going in our favor. The sending off might have helped us a bit, but the game continued in this manner."

He concluded: "I tried to score five or six times before, and I was getting closer to the goal each time, so it was great to score."
