Inter Milan Refuses to Lower Bastoni's Price Amid Barcelona Interest
Wednesday 15-04-2026
Inter Milan is adamant about not lowering the valuation of their Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni, amid interest from several European clubs, most notably Barcelona, according to media reports.

Previous reports indicated that Bastoni, whose contract with Inter extends until the summer of 2028, is close to leaving the Nerazzurri, with Barcelona considered the most likely destination for him in the near future.

According to Italian press reports, Inter Milan's management will not accept any offer less than 70 million euros to part with the Italian defender, reflecting the club's strong commitment to its key player.

The report clarified that Inter's strict financial stance could complicate Barcelona's task in negotiating the deal, especially given the financial crisis the Catalan club is facing.

Barcelona faces an additional challenge of adhering to the financial fair play rules in La Liga, which may require them to sell some players before completing any significant signings in the upcoming period.

Alessandro Bastoni joined Inter Milan in the summer of 2017 from Atalanta for 31 million euros. During the current season, he participated in 37 matches across various competitions, scoring two goals and providing six assists.
