The journalist Ahmed Shobeir revealed that Mahdi Suleiman will be the goalkeeper for Zamalek in the upcoming crucial matches.
In a radio statement, Shobeir said: "I believe that Mahdi Suleiman has been delivering an exceptional performance recently, showcasing his highest levels and best form. In the first leg against CR Belouizdad, he handled it remarkably well."
He added: "In the next three matches, Shabab Belouizdad and the final, Mahdi Suleiman will be significantly present. Awad will not be able to enter at the moment despite my continuous defense of him."
He added: "During the match against CR Belouizdad, Mahdi Suleiman handled all the difficult balls and two hit the crossbar, which is a testament to the goalkeeper's success."
Zamalek will face Algerian team CR Belouizdad next Friday in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.
