Gyokeres: We Feel Sad, Here's What We Need to Do
Arsenal forward Viktor Gyökeres appeared in a press statement following the 2-1 loss against Bournemouth in the 32nd round of the English Premier League, at the Emirates Stadium.
The player said in his interview: "It was a very important match. Of course, we feel sad. Fortunately, we have another good match on Wednesday, and another one at the weekend. We have a lot to look forward to."
He added, "We don't think that way [that participating in Europe is less pressure]. We approach every match with a winning mentality and aim to give our best."
He emphasized, "We always have this belief. We always want to win matches. We wanted to win this game. We played against a strong team, and they won today."
He added, "They are good at counterattacks. They have distinguished players and delivered some precise passes. But we need to perform better; we had some opportunities at the end. The pitch was a bit dry, which didn't help us."
He concluded: "I am very confident. There's no need to dwell too much on what happened today. We must look forward and be positive."
