Moatamid Gamal: We Recognize the Difficulty of the Shabab Belouizdad Match and Our Goal is to Achieve a Positive Result
Zamalek coach Moatamed Gamal confirmed that his team's match against CR Belouizdad in the Confederation Cup is important and challenging for both teams.
Zamalek will face Chabab Belouizdad tomorrow, Friday, in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.
In the press conference before the match, Moatamed Gamal added: "We understand the difficulty of the encounter, which is a two-legged match. The first leg will be tomorrow in Algeria, and our goal is to achieve a positive result that will ease the team's task in the return match in Cairo to qualify for the final."
He continued: "We understand that we will face a distinguished opponent who did not qualify by chance. Certainly, the CR Belouizdad team has been following Zamalek's matches, just as we have been following the opponent's matches."
He added: "The pressures faced by Zamalek have given the team great motivation. We are the only Egyptian team in the African tournaments, and we do not want to exit the competition. We aspire to win the title."
He also said: "Zamalek's lineup has never been complete before, and we previously suffered due to injuries and absences. This is the first time the team's lineup is complete, with all players being physically and technically ready, and they are eager to give their best to achieve the best result."
He concluded: "Zamalek has three international goalkeepers, and there is no problem in this position at all."
