Hesham Nasr: Zamalek Ready to Face CR Belouizdad in the Confederation Cup
Hisham Nasr, Vice President of Zamalek Club and head of the team's delegation in Algeria, confirmed that the Whites are ready for the match against CR Belouizdad in the African Confederation Cup.
Zamalek will face CR Belouizdad next Friday at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals.
Nasser said in statements reported by the Algerian newspaper An-Nahar: "I thank the officials of CR Belouizdad for welcoming us since our first day in Algeria. We received a wonderful reception and everything was facilitated for us."
He added: "Our match against CR Belouizdad is between brothers, and we hope it remains that way with the competition staying on the field."
"We followed the CR Belouizdad team in their match against Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi, and they delivered an outstanding performance. As for us, we are ready for the encounter, and I hope for success for Zamalek and that the result will be in our favor."
