Ibrahim Hassan: I was a reason for Zamalek's Confederation Cup victory
Ibrahim Hassan, the former player of Zamalek and Ismaily and currently with Al-Qanah, spoke about the behind-the-scenes details of his joining Zamalek.
Hassan said in statements to Siham Saleh on the program "El Clasico": "I lived the most beautiful 5 years in Ismailia, and I love them. They are my second home, and I consider myself one of their sons, not just a son of Zamalek."
He continued: "Zamalek officials tried to sign me 3 or 4 years before I came to the White Club, and when they finally signed me, I left after the first season, even though I participated throughout that year and was one of the reasons for winning the African Confederation Cup."
He continued: "From the shock of leaving the team, I slept and didn't want to get up. It's enough for me that Zamalek fans meet me and tell me I'm the reason for the Confederation Cup. I didn't leave for technical reasons, and I don't know why I left so suddenly."
