The Welsh star Aaron Ramsey officially announced his retirement from football at the age of 35, ending a long career in European and international fields, after a decision he described as "not easy" following deep reflection on his future.

Ramsey began his career with Cardiff City before making a notable name for himself with Arsenal, where he spent over a decade and won several titles, most notably the FA Cup. He also had stints with Juventus and Nice, and concluded his career with a brief period at Mexican club Pumas.

On the international stage, Ramsey is considered one of the standout players for the Wales national team in the modern era, having played 86 matches and scored 21 goals. He was one of the stars of the historic achievement in Euro 2016, in addition to participating in the 2022 World Cup.

The decision to retire came after a difficult period marked by a decline in his participation due to injuries, especially during his last stint in Mexico, in addition to his absence from his national team in the final stage.
