Liverpool Football Club received a significant morale boost ahead of a crucial week on both the domestic and European fronts, with the return of their Swedish striker Alexander Isak to group training after a long absence due to injury.

Liverpool is preparing for two high-stakes matches, as they face Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, before taking on Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Dutch coach Arne Slot confirmed that Isak will return to group training starting tomorrow, after being absent since last December, noting that the player is in good physical and mental condition.

Slot explained that the return of the Swedish striker represents a strong addition to the team, especially given his exceptional attacking abilities. However, he may not participate as a starter immediately, and will be gradually relied upon in the upcoming period.

The Liverpool coach pointed out that the timing of Isaac's return is extremely important, given the significant pressure on the team due to absences. He emphasized that having a player of his capabilities provides the team with additional solutions and enhances offensive options in the upcoming phase.
