A Major Blow for Al-Ahli Before the Match Against Damac
Tuesday 31-03-2026
Al-Ahli club received unpleasant news before their anticipated match against Damac, as it was confirmed that midfielder Valentin Atanga will miss the game due to injury.

Atanga sustained an ankle injury while participating in training with the French Under-21 national team, which led to him being ruled out of the upcoming match.

The reports confirmed that the injury will prevent the player from being included in the team roster, causing him to miss one of the important matches in the league journey.

With this absence, German coach Matthias Jaissle loses one of his midfield elements, forcing him to reorganize his plans before the match.

Al-Ahli will host Damak next Saturday evening at the "Al-Inma" Stadium in Jeddah, as part of the 27th round of the Saudi Roshan League.

The team is striving to compensate for the absences and achieve a positive result that strengthens its position in the standings during the crucial stage of the season.

Al-Ahly is in third place with 62 points, five points behind the leading team, Al-Nassr, which increases the importance of the upcoming match.
