Spanish press reports revealed that Real Madrid is placing the Portuguese star Vitinha, player of Paris Saint-Germain, at the top of its priorities to strengthen the midfield in the upcoming period.

According to the Spanish radio 'Cadena SER', the Real Madrid administration is still keenly interested in signing the 26-year-old player, as part of its efforts to enhance this position with distinguished elements.

Despite his name being linked to a move to the royal club earlier, Vitinha remained silent when asked about his future weeks ago, affirming his desire to continue with Paris Saint-Germain.

In the same context, Real Madrid continues to monitor Manchester City midfielder Rodri, but as an alternative option, especially after reports indicated his exclusion from the club's plans during the next summer transfer market.

Real Madrid prefers to sign Rodri in 2027 on a free transfer if they fail to acquire Vitinha in the coming period.

Vitinha joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022 from Porto for 41.5 million euros and is under contract with the French club until June 2029.
