Zamalek's management has decided to postpone the renewal of star player Hossam Abdelmaguid's contract until the end of the current season.

The player's contract with Zamalek ends at the end of the next season, and he is entitled to sign with any club in the upcoming January.

According to "Youm7" newspaper, Hossam Abdel Mageed is interested in pursuing a career abroad, which Zamalek is aware of. However, the club's management has decided to postpone negotiations until the end of the current season to maintain the team's focus and the players' discipline, as well as to avoid distracting the player before the season concludes.

The newspaper added that the player stipulated the inclusion of a clause in his new contract that grants him the flexibility to leave upon receiving a suitable professional offer, while adhering to an organized exit mechanism that ensures Zamalek's financial rights and avoids any prohibitive conditions that might hinder his future.
