The Fourth Circuit of the Administrative Court at the Egyptian State Council, presided over by Judge Mohamed Ghoneimi, rejected the appeal submitted by Zamalek Club regarding the recovery of a plot of land allocated to it in the city of October Gardens, which spans an area of 129 acres and was designated for establishing a new branch of the club.

The appeal, numbered 5193 for the judicial year 80, was filed by Hussein Labib against both the Minister of Housing and the Head of the October Gardens City Authority, objecting to the decision to withdraw the land.

During the consideration of the case, the court had previously postponed the lawsuit to review the memoranda submitted by all parties, before resuming the pleading sessions.

The session witnessed the presence of the club's defense team, which presented legal arguments, including challenging the jurisdiction of the entity that issued the withdrawal decision, as well as pointing out procedural violations of the governing regulations, in addition to emphasizing that the deadline for completing the project has not yet expired.

On the other hand, the court concluded by rejecting the appeal and upholding the decision to withdraw the land, thus closing the curtain on the legal dispute concerning the plot of land allocated for establishing a new branch of the club in October Gardens.
