Zamalek Succeeds in Qualifying for the African Confederation Cup Semi-finals
Zamalek succeeded in securing a 2-1 victory over their Congolese counterpart Otoho in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals, which took place on Sunday evening at the Cairo International Stadium.
Zamalek's goals were scored by Hossam Abdel Mageed and Oday Dabbagh in the 17th and 24th minutes, while Otoho's goal came from Grace Mavungo in the 83rd minute.
The first leg of the Confederation Cup quarter-final, held at the Alphonse Massamba Stadium, ended in a 1-1 draw.
As a result of the home and away matches, Zamalek qualifies for the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup to face Algeria's CR Belouizdad.
