According to the "Youm7" website, some members of the club's board of directors recommended keeping Moatamed Gamal in his position, following the positive results he has achieved with the team so far, while postponing the idea of hiring a foreign coach.

The report indicated that Zamalek's management had signed a contract with Moatamed Gamal until the end of the current season, with a clause allowing for an extension of his contract for an additional season if he secures one of the titles, either the Egyptian Premier League or the CAF Confederation Cup.

Zamalek delivered mixed results under the leadership of Moatamed Gamal, playing 19 matches in which they secured 10 wins, suffered 6 losses, and drew in 3 encounters.
